Why Palm Oil-Free?
Since the very beginning, we’ve made the firm decision to never use palm oil in any of our products. Why? Because we understand the devastating effects that palm oil production has on the environment. Large-scale deforestation, destruction of precious habitats, and the endangerment of species like orangutans are just a few of the consequences of palm oil plantations.
Choosing to remain palm oil-free hasn’t been easy. It costs around 30% more to develop our formulations, and it requires extensive research and careful sourcing of ingredients. But we believe the extra effort is worth it. By avoiding palm oil, we’re actively helping to protect rainforest ecosystems and prevent further deforestation.

This Earth Day, we’re not just talking about sustainability, we’re taking action. For every purchase made on our Australian and New Zealand websites, we’re donating 20% of the sale to the Orangutan Foundation International Australia. Their incredible work is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing orangutans back into the wild, as well as protecting their habitats through sustainable conservation efforts.
