The Block 2026, Week 2: Family Bathroom Reveals Featuring al.ive body

Season 22 of The Block landed at Mount Eliza on the Mornington Peninsula, with five teams renovating side by side, Scott Cam and Shelley Craft back hosting, Dan Reilly on the tools as foreman, and Darren Palmer, Shaynna Blaze and Marty Fox judging.

This week's brief was the family bathroom, and al.ive turned up in three of them. Here's where, and what they chose.

This Week's Reveals

Adam & Jolene - Family Bathroom

Adam and Jolene styled their family bathroom with the Bathroom Duo in Muted Olive, Willow Gum & Lemon Myrtle, set on an oak vanity against sand-toned tiles with a soft, replica-stone finish, with matte fixtures throughout and textured towels adding a further layer of tactility. Judges were won over by the material choices, calling out the tiles, the towels and the all-matte detailing as standouts of the room.

Rick & Tayla - Family Bathroom & Powder Room

Rick and Tayla brought the Bathroom Duo in Crisp White, Mango & Lychee, and the Apricot & Sweet Fig soy candle into their family bathroom, styled against a warm, tiled wall beside a freestanding bathtub. Judges praised the wall tiles behind the vanity as a standout.

Their powder room was still incomplete at reveal, timber-framed and yet to be tiled, but the al.ive Bathroom Duo in Deep Plum, Raspberry Blossom & Juniper, and the Sweet Fig & Apricot Reed Diffuser were already in place on the vanity, ready for the finished room to catch up.

Chantel & Wyatt - Family Bathroom

Chantel and Wyatt styled their family bathroom with the Bathroom Duo in Deep Plum, Raspberry Blossom & Juniper and the Sea Cotton & Coconut Soy Candle, both beautifully positioned on the double vessel basin vanity. The rich plum tones complemented the arched mirrors, brass wall-mounted tapware and circular-panelled timber cabinetry, while the Shower Trio in Natural Stone was styled within the shower niche for a considered, cohesive finish.Judges praised the luxury feel of the taps, basins and cabinet doors.

How to Get the Look at Home

You don't need a Block-sized build to borrow the idea. The Bathroom Duo works the same way here as it did on set: interlocking bottles sitting in a matching tray, holding their own on a vanity whether it's marble, timber or tiled.
